We are an active squadron located next to Deanwood School in Parkwood.

The Royal Air Force Air Cadets is a national voluntary youth organisation designed to develop the qualities of young people. It is sponsored by the Royal Air Force and provides challenging aviation, adventurous, and community activities.

To be eligible to join 25 Parkwood you have to be a minimum of 12 years old and in Year 8 at school.

Want to do more with your time, make friends get out, and join in with exciting and amazing activities? Then contact us at 25@rafac.mod.gov.uk or call 01634 233877 on a Monday or Thursday evening.

Thanks to our dedicated team of adult volunteers, we are able to offer activities including fieldcraft, flying, shooting, adventure training, and sports, whilst teaching every cadet valuable skills in communication, leadership, and teamwork. As a cadet, you will have the opportunity to earn formal qualifications from the activities on offer, in addition to a wide range of enjoyable weekend or week-long activities which will enhance your future job prospects.

Come up to the squadron on a Monday or Thursday at 7pm, we are always open to new cadets and adult volunteers, and look forward to welcoming you into 25 Parkwood very soon.
